I enjoy thrifting (proof

here). Surely there are days when I return home with empty hands and swear that I will never ever return, but then there are those days which make up for all of those unsuccessful ones. Speaking of which, this little side table definitely made my day! We've bargained down the price to 15 euro (!), although looking at the details it definitely needed more investment. Oddly enough, this made me even more excited! There was sandpapering, staining and varnishing and here are some before and after shots.
Mám rada nakupovanie na blšákoch (dôkaz tu a tu). Samozrejme sú dni, keď sa domov vrátim s prázdnymi rukami a zaprisahám sa, že sa tam už viac nevrátim, ale potom sú dni, pre ktoré sa to prehrabávanie haraburdami oplatí. A presne taký bol deň, keď sme na trhu objavili tento stolík a zjednali ho za 15 eur(!). Od začiatku nám však bolo jasné, že na úpravu a dokončenie budeme musieť ešte trochu zainvestovať. Použili sme šmirgel, moridlo a lak a takto stolík vyzeral pred a po úprave.
